Shane visits Cheyne’s

Posted on 03. Apr, 2009 by Shane in People & Places

Last week I dropped in at Cheyne Morrisby’s new kitchen style restaurant at 108 Bree Street, Cape Town. Cheyne’s is an awesome little spot, seating a maximum of 18 in ‘chef’s table’ style right next to the newly opened Brewer’s & Union.

Cheyne is aiming to showcase what he has done and experienced over the last decade, some of which includes cooking for none other than Robbie Williams, Eric Clapton and Kylie Minogue. Situated in the most up and coming part of central Cape Town, Cheyne’s aims to be an honest representation of  who Cheyne the chef actually is.

Cheyne’s will offer breakfasts and bistro lunches and in the evenings the space will transform into a private dining room, offering an interactive dining experience. Because the kitchen forms part of the dining room area, the guests will have a full view of the food that is being prepared and may even be invited to help cook what they have ordered.

All the best with the new venture boys!
