At some stage in the future we are sure to see a bigger trend toward ceramic knives. Set to hold their sharpness 10 times longer than most professional and high carbon steel knives. We can definitely see the benefits, especially when we learned that advanced ceramic is second only to diamond in hardness. Watch the space of ceramic knives!

    Ceramic knives are indeed being used more and more. Weight wise it is so so light yet delivers a cutting edge that is so sharp it slices through food as if it were air. Luke Skywalker i am sure has a set in his kitchen as his light sabre is blunt by comparison.
